  • Inspect the flexible hydraulic brake hoses at least twice a year. The hydraulic brake hoses transmit hydraulic pressure to the calipers from the steel brake lines on the body.
    •    • 
  • Inspect the brake hoses (1) for the following conditions:
    •    - Road hazard damage
       - Cracks
       - Chafing of the outer cover
       - Leaks
       - Blisters
       - Proper routing and mounting
       - Adequate inspection may require a light and a mirror.
       • 
  • If you observe any faulty conditions on a brake hose, replace the brake hose. Refer to Front Brake Hose Replacement or Rear Brake Hose Replacement .
