Brake Warning Indicators
BRAKE Indicator
The instrument cluster (IPC) illuminates the BRAKE indicator when the following occurs:
| • | The body control module (BCM) sends a class 2 message to the IPC indicating that the park brake is applied. |
| • | The electronic brake control module (EBCM) sends a class 2 message to the IPC indicating that the brake fluid level is low |
| • | The IPC performs the bulb check. |
