Removal Procedure
- Position the emergency brake lever to the full upright position.
- Position the shift lever fully rearward.
- Remove the instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate. Refer to
Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement
.
- Remove the screws from the front floor console cupholder.
- Remove the cupholder from the console by lifting up and rearward.
Installation Procedure
- Install the cupholder to the front floor console.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the screws to the front floor console cupholder.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
- Install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to
Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement
.
- Position the shift lever to the PARK position.
- Release the emergency brake lever.
