Did you perform the Lighting Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

Test the high beam signal circuit (1200) between the body control module and the turn/headlamp switch connector C1 for a short to ground.

Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

System OK

Go to Step 3

Disconnect the BCM connector C2.

Is the high beam indicator still illuminated?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Important: Perform the set up procedure for the body control module.

1. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration .
2. Replace the body control module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Did you complete the replacement?

System OK

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
