Did you perform the Lighting Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

Test for an open in CKT 306 between the headlamp switch and the ALC headlamp relay connctor. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs .

Did you find and correct the condition?

System OK

Go to Step 3

Connect a fused jumper wire between terminal 36 of the headlamp switch connector and ground.

Do the headlamps light?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 4

Replace the headlamp switch assembly. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column.

Did you complete the repair?

System OK
