Tail Lamp Assembly and /or Backup, Sidemarker, Stop, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement Pontiac

1. Pull back the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
2. Remove the taillamp thumb nuts.
3. Remove the taillamp from the rear body panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the taillamp.
5. Remove the circuit plate from the taillamp, if replacing bulbs.
6. Remove the required bulb(s) from the socket(s), if replacing bulbs.

1. Install the required bulb(s) to the socket(s), if replacing bulbs.
2. Install the circuit plate to the taillamp, pressing into place until the retainers are fully seated, if replacing bulb(s.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the taillamp.
4. Install the taillamp to the rear body panel.
5. Install the taillamp thumb nuts.
6. Pull back the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.

Tail Lamp Assembly and /or Backup, Sidemarker, Stop, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement Oldsmobile

1. Pull back the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
2. Remove the taillamp thumb nuts.
3. Remove the taillamp from the rear body panel.



4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the taillamp.
5. Remove the taillamp from the vehicle.



6. Disconnect the electrical connector retainer from the taillamp housing, if required.
7. Remove the bulb socket(s) from the taillamp, if required.
8. Remove the bulb(s) from the socket(s) , if required.

1. Install the bulb(s) to the socket(s) , if required.
2. Install the bulb socket(s) to the taillamp, if required.
3. Connect the electrical connector retainer to the taillamp housing, if required.



4. Connect the electrical connector to the taillamp.



5. Install the taillamp to the rear body panel.
6. Install the taillamp thumb nuts.
7. Pull back the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
