Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the left splash shield from the vehicle. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement .
  3. Remove the air intake duct from the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
  4. Remove the connector from the washer solvent level sensor.

    5. Important: The washer solvent will drain from the container when the sensor is removed. Place a suitable drain pan under the container before removing the sensor.

  5. Remove the solvent level sensor and seal from the washer solvent container.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the seal in the washer solvent container.
  2. Install the solvent level sensor in the solvent container.
  3. Connect the connector to the solvent level sensor.
  4. Install the air intake duct onto the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
  5. Install the left splash shield onto the vehicle. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
