Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right headlamp assembly in order to gain access to the horn. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.

    2. Object Number: 329494 Size: SH
  2. Remove the horn retaining nut (3) from the front impact bar.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the horn.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.


    Object Number: 329494 Size: SH
  1. Install the retaining nut (3) to the front impact bar.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining nut to 2.5 N·m (52 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the horn.
  3. Install the right headlamp assembly. Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
