Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement Coupe

1. Remove the front seat belt retractor side belt bolt cover and bolt.
2. Move the seat belt out of the way.
3. Remove the coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .



4. Remove the upper quarter trim panel.

1. Install the upper quarter trim panel.
2. Ensure that the unit is retained.
3. Install the coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .




Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

4. Install the front seat belt retractor side belt bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

5. Install the bolt cover.

Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement Sedan

1. Pull firmly and evenly in order to remove the upper quarter trim panel.
2. Remove the panel from the vehicle.

1. Install the upper quarter trim panel.
2. Ensure that the unit is retained.
