Removal Procedure
- Remove the washer solvent from the washer solvent container.
- Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement
in Engine Controls-2.2L or
Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement
in Engine
Controls-3.4L.
- Disconnect the washer pump electrical
connector .
- Disconnect the washer hose from the washer pump.
- Disconnect the washer solvent level sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the washer solvent container screws.
- Remove the washer solvent container from the frame rail.
Installation Procedure
- Position the washer solvent
container to the frame rail.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the washer
solvent container screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
- Connect the washer solvent level sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the washer hose to the washer pump.
- Connect the washer pump electrical connector.
- Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to
Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement
in Engine Controls-2.2L or
Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement
in Engine
Controls-3.4L.
- Fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
