Removal Procedure
- Lower the window to the down position.
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the door water deflector. Refer to
Rear Door Replacement
.
- Remove the window to regulator bolts.
- Push the window to its full up position and tape in place.
- Remove the regulator bolts.
- Pivot the regulator (right door clockwise, left door counterclockwise)
and slide the assembly out of the door.
- Disconnect the electric connector to
the motor.
- Remove the regulator from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Partially install the three bolts (2) to hang the regulator in
the door.
- Position the regulator in the door and hang it in place.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the regulator
bolts (1,2).
Tighten
Tighten the regulator bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the electrical connector to the
motor.
- Slide the window down to join the regulator.
- Install the window to the regulator bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the window to regulator bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Check the operation of the window.
- Install the water deflector. Refer to
Rear Door Replacement

- Install the door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
