J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.



2. Using theJ 38185 loosen the clamp.
3. Remove the outlet surge tank hose from the heater hose assembly.



4. Using theJ 38185 loosen the inlet (2) and outlet (1) hose clamps.
5. Remove the heater pipes.



6. Using theJ 38185 loosen the heater hose inlet and outlet clamps.
7. Remove the hoses (1, 2) from the heater core.
8. Remove the hose assembly.

1. Position the heater hose assembly into the vehicle.
2. Install the inlet and outlet hoses (1, 2) to the heater core.
3. Using theJ 38185 reposition the clamp.



4. Install the surge tank outlet hose.
5. Using theJ 38185 reposition the clamp.



6. Install the inlet (2) and outlet (1) hoses to the heater pipes.
7. Using theJ 38185 reposition the clamps.
8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
