Removal Procedure
- Lower the window half
way down in order to gain access to the window retainer clamp fasteners (1).
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the door module. Refer to
Door Control Module Replacement
.
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Loosen the window retainer clamp fasteners.
Important: You may need to use masking tape in order to hold the window in place
while removing the regulator.
- Slide the window to the full up position.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.
- Remove the window regulator to inner door panel fasteners (1-3).
- Remove the window regulator.
Installation Procedure
- Install the window regulator
into the door.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the window
regulator fasteners.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners in this order, (1, 3, 2),
to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
- Provide power to the window motor and run the motor to the fully
closed position.
Tighten
Tighten the window retainer clamp fasteners to 11 N·m (95 lb in).
- Connect the window motor electrical connector.
- Install the water deflector. Refer to

- Install the door module. Refer to
Door Control Module Replacement
.
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
