This bulletin is being issued to advise dealers of what features have been changed,
added or deleted for the 2004 model year. This information should answer any questions
regarding how these vehicles should be equipped.
TrailBlazer, TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy, Envoy XL, Bravada
| • | Deleted cargo power point. |
| • | Changed 4-way to 2-way lumbar on driver's seat. |
| • | Deleted second overhead console in headliner. |
| • | Deleted "green eye" on battery. |
| • | Deleted two tumblers from glove box lock. |
| • | Deleted "heat" symbol from outside rearview mirror. |
| • | Deleted 65 and 67 oak interior and 69 dark pewter interior. Added 33 cashmere
interior (Chevrolet and Oldsmobile) and 33 light tan interior (GMC). |
| • | Deleted exterior colors 58U sandalwood and 11U pewter. Added 15U cashmere.
67U silverstone and 44U medium red now available for Chevrolet. |
| • | Deleted RDS logo from radio. |
| • | Replaced neon CHMSL with LED CHMSL (changes appearance only when lit). |
| • | Modified STW steering wheel with more sound system buttons. HVAC controls
removed. |
| • | Ashtray and lighter become freeflow option. |
| • | "Leather seating surfaces" changed to "leather appointed
seating". |
| • | OnStar® antenna changes from rear glass-mounted to front roof-mounted. |
| • | New XM radio has a separate antenna. |
| • | New "last door locking" feature. |
| • | DVD can now play through vehicle's audio system in addition to wireless
headphones (not available on XUV). |
| • | New front stabilizer bar. |
| • | Radio changes from 100 series to 175 series: UC6, UB0, UB1 and UM8. |
| • | New navigation radio: UM8 (not available on Oldsmobile). |
| • | Sunshade on windshield changed from tinted to dot matrix. |
Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy and Oldsmobile Bravada
| • | Cargo shade only comes in two colors: pewter and tan. |
| • | Added secondary air injection (AIR) system: 4.2L (LL8) only. |
Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL
Rear window defogger (C49) is now optional.
Chevrolet TrailBlazer and TrailBlazer EXT
| • | Tires QRF and QTF replace WOL spare tire with blackwall spare tire. |
| • | Remove two-tone paint apply from Chevrolet LT and LTZ on I/P. I/P is now
monotone. |
| • | N74 wheel available now for non-NorthFace builds. |
| • | LT trim will use body color grille bar and door handles. |
| • | LS trim on power driver's seat will be optional. |
| • | Deleted custom cloth on LS trim and replaced it with premium cloth. |
| • | Deleted monotone leather seats. All leather seats will have a two-tone
appearance. |
GMC Envoy and Envoy XL
| • | Eliminated SLE badges on "B" pillars. Will maintain SLT badging. |
| • | Envoy and Envoy XL badges will have "acrylic fill" removed.
(They will look the same from a distance but will not have clear material within the
chrome surround.) |
| • | N75 wheel available for SLT package. |
| • | Replaced cloth door trim inserts with vinyl. |
| • | Replaced power lumbar with manual on power seats (driver and passenger). |
| • | Deleted power and lumbar from manual cloth passenger seats. |
Oldsmobile Bravada
Final 500 will have standard electric adjustable pedals.
