INADEQUATE HEAT/AIR FLOW DISTRIBUTION-REVISED AIR DUCT

SUBJECT: INADEQUATE HEAT/AIR FLOW DISTRIBUTION TO DRIVER'S SIDE FLOOR INSTALL REVISED HEATER FLOOR OUTLET

MODELS/YEARS: 1991 CUSTOM CRUISER

CONDITION: Some 1991 Custom Cruisers built prior to vehicle number MW303465 may exhibit inadequate driver's side heat.

CAUSE: Inadequate heat and air flow distribution to the drivers side from the heater floor outlet.

CORRECTION: Install a revised heater floor outlet, P/N 10100996, which is currently available form GMSPO. The revised outlet may be identified from the old outlet by the addition of a rectangular opening and the removal of an extension tab on the left hand side of the outlet, as shown in the illustration below.
