Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right front wheelhouse panel splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.
  2. Remove the left front wheelhouse panel splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.
  3. Remove the fender to the fascia retainers.

  4. Object Number: 277200  Size: SH
  5. Remove the retainers (2) from the top of the fascia (4).
  6. Remove the retainers (5) from the bottom of the fascia (4).
  7. Remove the lamps from the sidemarkers. Refer to Park/Turn Signal/Side Marker Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  8. Remove the fascia (4) from the impact bar (6).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 277200  Size: SH
  1. Install the fascia (4) to the impact bar (6).
  2. Install the lamps to the sidemarkers. Refer to Park/Turn Signal/Side Marker Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  3. Install the retainers (2) to the top of the fascia (4).

  4. Object Number: 277200  Size: SH
  5. Install the retainers (5) to the bottom of the fascia (4).
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the fender to the fascia retainers.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  9. Install the left front wheelhouse panel splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.
  10. Install the right front wheelhouse panel splash shield. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.
