Important: A short to ground will cause an open fuse(s). Before performing this diagnostic procedure, inspect the fuse(s) for an open.

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the left front door lock switch connector between terminal C and ground.
2. Press and hold the left front door lock switch in the LOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 2

Go to Step 3

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the left IP wiring harness junction block between terminal A3 of connector C3 and ground.
2. Press and hold the left front door lock switch in the LOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the left front door lock switch. Refer to Door Lock Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Replace the left IP wiring harness junction block. Refer to Relay/Fuse Center Replacement in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in CKT 195 between the left front door lock switch and the left IP wiring harness junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
