Did you perform the Power Seats System Check?

Go to Power Seats System Check

1. Ensure proper connection of the power seat switch.
2. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the power seat switch between terminal E and terminal F.
3. Move the power seat switch to the FRONT UP and the FRONT DOWN positions.

Does the test lamp light with the switch in both positions?

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the front height motor connector between terminal A and ground.
2. Move the power seat switch to the FRONT DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the poser seat switch. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Seats System Check

--

1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the front height motor connector between terminal B and ground.
2. Move the power seat switch to the FRONT UP position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Repair the open in CKT 287 between the power seat switch and the front height motor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Seats System Check

Replace the rear height motor. Refer to Seat Adjuster Front Vertical Actuator and Rear Vertical Actuator Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Seats System Check

--

Repair the open in CKT 286 between the power seat switch and the front height motor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
