RADIO BACKGROUND HASH ON FM BAND INSTALL RFI SUPPRESSOR

MODELS/YEARS 1988-1989 CUTLASS SUPREME

Some 1988-89 Cutlass Supreme models vehicles may exhibit a condition perceived as weak FM radio reception. This condition may be caused by fuel pump induced noise which results in background hash on the FM band.

Vehicles exhibiting this condition may be repaired by installing P/N 25027405, RFI Suppressor Harness Unit. Instructions and applicable parts required for installation are contained in the service unit.

Parts are currently available through GMSPO.
