VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS SUPREME

Service Manual Section 8A, 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme pages 130-2 and 130-4. On page 130-2 delete Troubleshooting Hint #4.

On page 130-4 delete paragraph 4 which reads:

"The LH Door Lock Switch is illuminated with an LED with the light switch in HEAD or PARK. The Driver's door lock switch also has a time delay illumination function that lights the switch for 45 seconds after the lights have been turned off."

Replace the deleted paragraph with the following:

"The Unlock Indicator is an LED which lights to indicate that the LH door is unlocked. The LED will light whenever the ignition is in RUN and LH door switch is closed."
