Ignition System Check for Oldsmobile Eighty Eight 1999

1. If the engine cranks but will not run or immediately stalls, refer to Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check in Engine Controls -- 3.8L in order to determine if the failure is in the ignition system or the fuel system.
2. If any DTCs are set for the electronic ignition, refer to Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check in Engine Controls -- 3.8L.
3. If a misfire is being experienced, refer to Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check in Engine Controls -- 3.8L.
