TRANSMISSION CASE COVER 125-C PART NUMBER CORRECTION

MODELS/YEARS: 1984 FIRENZA, OMEGA & CUTLASS CIERA

This bulletin is being re-issued with corrections and replaces Dealer Technical Bulletin 84-T-26 dated March 28, 1985 which should be destroyed.

The October 1984 and also the January and February 1985 issues of the Warehousing Distribution Division of General Motors (WDDGM) Parts Catalog incorrectly lists some 1984 model year THM 125C Case Cover part numbers. WDDGM Service Parts Action Builetin, number 85-10, issued February 22, 1985 correctly lists the service usage part numbers.

Listed below are the model year, transaxle models, and CORRECT service usage part number and identification.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
