to steering gear joints are loose or worn.

- Inspect the joints from the steering column to the steering gear
for damage or loosness. Tighten to the correct torque specifications.
- Replace the joints from the steering column to the steering gear
as needed. Refer to

The steering
gear is loose.
| Tighten the steering gear mounting bolts to specification. Refer to
Fastener Tightening Specifications

The tie rod ends are loose.
|
- Inspect the tie rod ends for loosness or damage.
- Replace the tie rod ends as needed. Refer to

The wheel
drive shaft bearing is loose.
