Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Rear

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
3. Remove the upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Disconnect the drain hose from the sunroof housing rear drain tube at the rocker panel.
6. Remove the tape at the upper corner of the C-pillar to rocker.
7. Remove the drain hose from through the hole in the C-pillar.
8. Disconnect the drain hose from the module fitting.
9. Remove the drain hose from the vehicle.

1. Install the sunroof drain hose to the vehicle.

Important: Lubricate each end of the hose with general purpose lubricant GM P/N 12345579 or equivalent .

2. Press the drain hose onto the module fitting until fully seated.
3. Route the drain hose through hole in the C-pillar inner and out through the roof rail.
4. Tape the drain hose to the C-pillar.
5. Press the drain hose onto the sunroof housing rear drain tube at the rocker until fully seated.
6. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Install the upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement
8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement Front

1. Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
2. Remove the parking brake lever, if replacing the left front hose. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement in Park Brake.
3. Remove the acoustical patch.
4. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Remove the drain hose from the through hole in the front body hinge pillar lower.
6. Remove the grommet from the hole at the body hinge pillar.
7. Remove the drain hose from the through hole in the roof rail.
8. Disconnect the drain hose from the module fitting.
9. Remove the drain hose from the vehicle.

Important: Lubricate each end of the sunroof drain hose with general purpose lubricant GM P/N 12345579 or equivalent.




1. Install the sunroof drain hose to the vehicle.
2. Press the drain hose onto the module fitting.
3. Route the drain hose through the through hole in roof rail aligning the marking on the hose with the hole.
4. Route the drain hose through the through hole in the front body hinge pillar lower.
5. Insert the grommet into the hole until fully seated.
6. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Install the acoustical patch.
8. Install the parking brake lever, if replacing the left front hose. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement in Park Brake.
9. Install the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
