Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 256325 Size: SH
  1. Remove the fuel lines from the EGR Valve bracket.
  2. Disconnect the EGR Valve (3) electrical connector.
  3. Remove the EGR Valve bracket mounting nuts from the EGR Valve studs(4).
  4. Remove the EGR Valve bracket.
  5. Remove the EGR Valve mounting studs (4) from the coolant crossover assembly (1).
  6. Remove the EGR Valve.

    7. Ensure EGR Valve mounting surface is clean and all gasket material is removed.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 256325 Size: SH
  1. Install EGR Valve (3) and a NEW gasket (2) to the coolant crossover assembly (1).
  2. Install the EGR Valve mounting studs.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the EGR Valve mounting studs to 24N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the EGR Valve bracket to the EGR Valve mounting studs (4) using the 2 EGR Valve bracket mounting nuts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the EGR Valve bracket mounting nuts to 19N·m (14 lb ft).

  4. Connect the EGR Valve (3) electrical connector.
  5. Install the fuel lines into the EGR Valve bracket.
