Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 384915 Size: MH
  1. Remove the appropriate assist handle assembly from the roof headliner. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the side rail lamp on the assist handle assembly.
  3. Using a small flat-bladed tool, carefully pry at an edge of the side rail lamp lens (1) to release the retaining tabs, then remove the lens from the assist handle.
  4. Release the socket from the side rail lamp housing.
  5. Remove the bulb from the socket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 384915 Size: MH
  1. Install the bulb to the side rail lamp socket.
  2. Install the socket to the side rail lamp housing.
  3. Align and carefully install the side rail lamp lens (1) to the side rail lamp assembly.
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the side rail lamp on the assist handle assembly.
  5. Install the assist handle assembly to the roof headliner. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement in Interior Trim.
