Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel steering column opening filler. Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement .
  2. Remove bolts/screws from the Data Link Connector.
  3. Remove the hood release lever. Refer to Hood Release Lever Replacement .
  4. Remove SIR connector clip.

    5. Object Number: 182702 Size: SH
  5. Remove the bolts/screws from the knee bolster bracket.

    6. Object Number: 182689 Size: SH
  6. Remove the instrument panel knee bolster bracket from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 182689 Size: SH
  1. Install the instrument panel knee bolster bracket to the instrument panel.

    2. Object Number: 182702 Size: SH
  2. Install the bolts/screws to the instrument panel knee bolster bracket.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the instrument panel knee bolster bracket bolts/screws to 6 N·m(53 lb in).

  3. Install SIR connector clip.
  4. Install bolts/screws from the Data Link Connector.
  5. Install the hood release lever. Refer to Hood Release Lever Replacement .
  6. Install the instrument panel steering column opening filler. Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement .
