  1. Turn the dimmer switch to the LOW position.
  2. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

The following lamps are all ON:

    • The steering wheel radio control switches
    • The headlamp switch
    • The door lock switches
    • The window switches
    • The heater and A/C control
    • The instrument cluster
    • The automatic transaxle control position indicator
    • The fog lamp switch
    • The outside remote control rearview mirror switch
    • The electronic traction control switch
    • The driver seat heater and traction control switch

The vacuum fluorescent (VF) displays (radio heater-A/C control and instrument cluster) step dim.

Turn the dimmer switch slowly to the HIGH position.

  1. The brightness of the IP lamps slowly increase to high.
  2. The brightness of the VF displays slowly increase to high.

  1. Turn the dimmer switch to the OFF position.
  2. Turn the park lamp switch to the OFF position.
    • The IP lamps turn OFF.
    • The VF displays turn OFF.
