Door Lock and Side Window and Outside Rearview Mirror Remote Control Switch Replacement Front Door

Caution: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the driver door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.

Important: When removing a door trim panel or switch plate, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the switch if a flat-bladed tool, awl or metal object is used to remove the switch from the harness.

Important: Protect the trim panel at the point of insertion of the flat bladed tool to avoid damaging the trim panel.

1. Remove the power window/power door lock switch mounting plate using a small flat-bladed tool.

Insert the tool at the rear of the switch mounting plate releasing the switch mounting plate retainer.

Lift the rear of the plate up.

2. Slide the switch plate rearward out of the door trim panel.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.



4. Unsnap the switche(s) from the mounting plate.

1. Connect the electrical connectors.



2. Install the switche(s) to the mounting plate.

Press the switche(s) down until fully seated.

3. Insert the front of the mounting plate into the trim panel.
4. Press down on the rear of the mounting plate until the plate is fully seated.
