Removal Procedure
Tools Required
J 38185
Hose Clamp Pliers
Partially drain the engine coolant from the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Use
J 38185
in order to remove the outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
Disconnect the outlet hose from the radiator.
Remove the outlet hose clamp from the water crossover using the
J 38185
.
Disconnect the outlet hose from the water crossover.
Remove the outlet hose.
Installation Procedure
Tools Required
J 38185
Hose Clamp Pliers
Install the outlet hose.
Connect the outlet hose to the water crossover.
Use
J 38185
in order to install the outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
Connect the outlet hose to the radiator.
Install the outlet hose clamp to the radiator using the
J 38185
.
Fill the cooling system with engine coolant. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Inspect system for leaks.

Remove the electric cooling fan assembly. Refer to
Engine Cooling Fan Replacement

Use

in order to remove the outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
Disconnect the outlet hose from the water pump housing using the
J 38185
.
Remove the outlet hose.
Installation Procedure
Install the outlet hose in position and align the marks on the hose.
Use
J 38185
in order to remove the outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
Use
J 38185
in order to install the outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
Install the electric cooling fan assembly. Refer to
Engine Cooling Fan Replacement
.
Fill the cooling system with engine coolant. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Inspect for leaks.
