Makes 🢒 Oldsmobile 🢒 2000 🢒 Intrigue 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Electrical 🢒 Throttle Body Heater Inlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.5L.

    2. Object Number: 308955 Size: SH
  2. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.
  3. Remove the accelerator controls cable bracket. Refer to Accelerator Control Cable Bracket Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.
  4. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  5. Note the position of the throttle body heater inlet hose insulator. Remove the throttle body heater inlet hose insulator.
  6. Remove the throttle body heater inlet hose clamp from the water crossover.
  7. Disconnect the throttle body heater inlet hose form the water crossover.
  8. Remove the throttle body heater inlet hose clamp form the throttle body.
  9. Disconnect the throttle body heater inlet hose from the throttle body.
  10. Remove the throttle body heater inlet hose.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 308955 Size: SH
  1. Install the throttle body heater inlet hose.
  2. Connect the throttle body heater inlet hose clamp to the throttle body.
  3. Install the throttle body heater inlet hose clamp to the throttle body.
  4. Connect the throttle boy heater inlet hose to the water crossover.
  5. Install the throttle body heater inlet hose to the water crossover.
  6. Install the throttle body heater inlet hose insulator.
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  8. Install the accelerator controls cable bracket. Refer to Accelerator Control Cable Bracket Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.
  9. Install the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5L.
  10. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.5L.
  11. Inspect for leaks.
