Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the case side cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 48209  Size: SH
  3. Use a small flat-bladed tool in order to remove the wiring harness from the solenoid valve(s) (315A, 315B, 322, 334 and/or 440), TFP manual valve position switch (395) and/or the temperature sensor (391).

  4. Object Number: 48210  Size: SH
  5. Remove the wiring harness (224).
  6. Remove the clips retaining the solenoid(s).

  7. Object Number: 49328  Size: SH
  8. Remove the solenoid(s).

  9. Object Number: 49385  Size: SH
  10. Remove the 2-3 shift solenoid (315B).

  11. Object Number: 49407  Size: SH
  12. Inspect the wiring harness (224).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 49385  Size: SH
  1. Install the 2-3 shift solenoid (315B).

  2. Object Number: 49328  Size: SH
  3. Install the solenoid(s).
  4. Install the retaining clips.

  5. Object Number: 48210  Size: SH
  6. Install the wiring harness (224).

  7. Object Number: 49409  Size: SH
  8. Install the wiring harness to the solenoid valve(s) (315A, 315B, 322, 334 and/or 440), TFP manual valve position switch (395) and/or the temperature sensor (391).
  9. Install the case side cover. Refer to Control Valve Body Cover Replacement .
  10. Important: It is recommended that transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) information be reset.

    Resetting the TAP values using a scan tool will erase all learned values in all cells. As a result, The ECM, PCM or TCM will need to relearn TAP values. Transmission performance may be affected as new TAP values are learned.

  11. Reset the TAP values. Refer to Adapt Function .
