Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

1. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
2. Open a door or turn the headlamp switch to the DOME position.

Do the courtesy lamps turn on?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

Go to Step 3

Using a test lamp connected to a known good ground, backprobe the switched B+ feed for the courtesy lamps at the Body Control Module.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Repair a poor connection or open in the B+ feed for the courtesy lamps. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 6

Important: Perform the setup procedure for the Body Control Module.

Replace the Body Control Module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
