Does the system operate normally?

  1. Disconnet trip odometer reset switch. Refer to Trip Odometer Reset Switch Replacement .
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the on position.
  3. Using a 3A fused jumper between the trip odomoeter reset switch harness connector terminal 1 and ground.

Does the odometer switch between trip and season?

Go to Step 7

Inspect for poor connections, open or high resistance on circuit 1358 between trip odometer reset switch and instrument cluster.

Was a open or high resistance found on circuit 1358?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair cicuit 1358.

Is repair complete?

--

Go to Step 10

Replace the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Did you complete the repair?

Inspect for poor connections, open or high resistance on circuit 1550 between trip odometer reset switch and G203.

Was a open or high resistance found on circuit 1550?

Repair circuit 1550.

Replace trip odometer reset switch. Refer to Trip Odometer Reset Switch Replacement .
