  1. Ignition on, engine off.
  2. Move the heated seat switch to the off position.
  3. Observe the power indicator lamps on the heated switch.

Are the heated switch power indicator lamps off?

While cycling the heated switch between off and lo/hi positions, listen to an audible click coming from the heated seat relay module.

Did you hear an audible click?

Test the heated seat heater element feed circuit for a short to B+.
