Balance Shaft Removal for Oldsmobile Intrigue 2002


    Object Number: 287744 Size: SH
  1. Remove the balance shaft thrust plate bolts.

    2. Object Number: 287743 Size: SH
  2. Remove the balance shaft thrust plate.

    3. Object Number: 287738 Size: SH
  3. Using two hands, slide the balance shaft out the front of the engine. Be sure to support the balance shaft (1) during removal to prevent any damage to the bushings. The balance shaft bushings are not serviceable.
