Does the air conditioning compressor clutch engage?

Go to Step 2

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the compressor clutch.
3. Connect a fused jumper wire between B+ and the clutch coils. Refer to Using Fused Jumper Wires in Wiring Systems.

Does the clutch engage?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Replace the A/C compressor coil. Refer to Compressor Clutch Coil Removal (V5 - Conventional Mount) .

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Repair the electrical circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
