The HVAC programmer contains sophisticated self-diagnostics. When you use a Scan Tool , the diagnostics identify the source of any system malfunction as specifically as possible. The Scan Tool also indicates whether the malfunction is current or non-current (history). When a fault is present, the VF display panel will flash.
