DEFINITION: The blower motor runs with the ignition key OFF.

1. Ignition OFF.
2. Blower speed OFF.

Is the blower motor running?

Go to Step  2

System OK

Inspect CKT 65 (PPL) for a short to voltage.

Is there a short present?

--

Go to Step  4

Go to Step  3

Replace the Blower control module. Refer to Blower Motor Control Module Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

System OK

--

Repair the short in CKT 65 (PPL).

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?
