Inside Air Temperature Sensor Replacement Buick

1. Remove the accessory panel trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
2. Remove the aspirator hose and sensor assembly.
3. Remove the inside temperature sensor (1).
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).

1. Connect the electrical connector (2).
2. Connect the inside temperature sensor (1) to the aspirator hose.

Important: Do not crimp or bend the hose during installation.

3. Connect the aspirator hose and sensor assembly to the instrument panel.
4. Install the accessory panel trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Inside Air Temperature Sensor Replacement Oldsmobile

1. Remove the knee bolster assembly. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
2. Remove the sensor grille.



3. Release the retainer clips though the grille hole.
4. Remove the sensor (3) from the knee bolster.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
6. Remove the sensor (3) from the aspirator tube.

1. Install the sensor (3) to the aspirator tube.
2. Connect the electrical connector (2).
3. Install the sensor (3) to the knee bolster assembly (6).
4. Install the sensor grille to the knee bolster assembly (6).
5. Install the knee bolster assembly. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Inside Air Temperature Sensor Replacement Pontiac

1. Remove the instrument panel knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
2. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
3. Remove the aspirator tube (4) from the inside temperature sensor (3).
4. Remove the electrical connector (2) from the inside temperature sensor (3).
5. Remove the inside temperature sensor (3) from the vehicle.

1. Position the inside temperature sensor (3) in the vehicle.
2. Connect the aspirator tube (4) to the inside temperature sensor (3).
3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the inside temperature sensor (3).
4. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
5. Install the instrument panel knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
