Did you perform the HUD Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Head Up Display (HUD) System Check

  1. Disconnect the HUD switch connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Measure the voltage from the HUD switch connector terminal 6 to ground.

Is battery voltage present?

10-15 V

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Inspect for an open or short to ground in CKT 1141 (BRN).

Is the wiring OK?

--

Go to Head Up Display (HUD) System Check

Go to Step 9

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the HUD module connector.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. Measure the voltage from the HUD module connector terminal A11 to ground.

Is battery voltage present?

10-15 V

Go to Step 6

Inspect for an open or short to ground in CKT 1141 (BRN).

Is the wiring OK?

--

Go to Head Up Display (HUD) System Check

Go to Step 9

  1. Disconnect the HUD module connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Measure the voltage from the HUD module connector terminal 11 to terminal 12.

Is battery voltage present?

10-15 V

Go to Step 8

Inspect for an open or short to ground in CKT 251 (BLK/WHT).

Is the wiring OK?

--

Go to Head Up Display (HUD) System Check

Go to Step 10

Inspect for poor terminal contact at HUD control module connector terminal 11 or 12.

Is the terminal contact OK?

Go to Head Up Display (HUD) Image Intensity Does Not Dim With Park Light On

Repair the open or short ground in CKT 1141 (BRN).

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Head Up Display (HUD) System Check

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 251 (BLK/WHT).

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Head Up Display (HUD) System Check

Repair the poor terminal contact at the HUD control module .
