Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Place the seat on a clean, protected surface.
  3. Remove the seat adjuster retainers.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors, if necessary.
  5. Remove the seat adjusters from the seat.

    6. Object Number: 314058 Size: SH
  6. Remove the hog rings (1, 2, 3) from the seat cover.
  7. Pull back the trim flap.
  8. Disconnect the side J-retainers (5).
  9. Pull back the seat cover to expose the recliner roll pins.

    10. Object Number: 287844 Size: SH
  10. Remove the roll pins from the seat back frame.
  11. Disconnect the air lines, if necessary.
  12. Remove the fasteners from the power recliner motor mounting bracket.
  13. Release the actuator from the seat frame by lifting actuator shafts upward.
  14. Remove the recliner assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 287844 Size: SH
  1. Install the recliner assembly vertically then rotate to the downward position.
  2. Install the fasteners to the power recliner motor mounting bracket.
  3. Connect the air lines, if necessary.
  4. Install the roll pins to the seat back frame.

    5. Object Number: 314058 Size: SH
  5. Connect the side J-retainers (5).
  6. Install the hog ring  (1, 2, 3) to the seat cover.
  7. Install the seat adjusters to the seat.
  8. Connect the electrical connectors, if necessary.
  9. Install the seat adjuster retainers.
  10. Install the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
