Drivers and right front seat passengers of some 1990 Toronados and Trofeos may experience a condition of the shoulder belt contacting or rubbing against the neck. This condition may be improved by using the following procedure to install a revised headrest guide loop. Use the following chart to select the correct part number according to color:

1. Remove the two headrest guide loop mounting screws and remove and discard the old guide loop. Refer to Figure 1.
2. Position the shoulder belt so that it runs through the new guide loop.
3. Mount the new guide loop on the headrest by installing the original guide loop mounting screws. Refer to Figure 2.
4. Install the passenger side guide loop using the above procedure.
