SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT ON A FAINT BUZZING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT OF DASH AREA.
INSTALL NEW FUEL LINE RETAINER, P/N 25632670, WHICH HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO ISOLATE NOISE FROM THE FRONT OF DASH AREA.
REMOVAL PROCEDURE: (REFER TO ILLUSTRATION)
1. REMOVE THE REAR SIGHT SHIELD.
2. REMOVE THE FUEL LINE RETAINER FROM THE FRONT OF DASH ATTACHMENT.
3. REMOVE THE FUEL LINE RETAINER FROM THE FUEL LINES.
4. REMOVE THE THREADED STUD BY UNSCREWING IT FROM THE FRONT OF DASH ATTACHMENT.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: (REFER TO ILLUSTRATION)
1. INSTALL THE NEW FUEL LINE RETAINER, P/N 25632670, TO THE FRONT OF DASH ATTACHMENT WITH THE RETAINING CLIP LATCH ON TOP.
2. PLACE THE FUEL LINES IN THE NEW RETAINER WITH THE 3/8" LINE ON THE BOTTOM AND THE 5/16" LINE ON THE TOP.
3. CLOSE THE RETAINER LATCH AND SNAP THE LATCH CLOSED.
4. INSTALL THE REAR SIGHT SHIELD.
PARTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE AVAILABLE ON OCTOBER 10, 1994.
