  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Set the parking brake.
  3. Release the parking brake.

Is the BRAKE warning indicator on?

  1. Disconnect the brake fluid level indicator sensor.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a fused (3-amp) jumper between the brake fluid level indicator sensor harness connector terminal A and terminal B.

Is the BRAKE warning indicator on?

Replace the brake fluid level sensor. Refer to Brake Fluid Level Indicator Switch Replacement in Hydraulic Brakes.

Has the repair been made and the system rechecked?

--

System OK

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect a fused (3-amp) jumper between the brake fluid level indicator sensor harness connector terminal B and ground.

Is the BRAKE warning indicator on?

Go to Step 5

Repair a poor connection or open in CKT 1450 between the brake fluid level sensor harness connector terminal A and G200.

Has the repair been made and the system rechecked?

System OK

Repair the poor connection or open in CKT 33 between S207 and the brake fluid level sensor harness connector terminal B.

Has the repair been made and the system rechecked?

--

System OK

--
