For 1990-2009 cars only
  1. Remove the sliding door upper garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Garnish Molding Replacement .
  2. Important: Loosen only 1 bolt at a time on the following brackets:

       • The sliding door lower roller bracket
       • The sliding door center roller bracket
    If you loosen more than 1 bolt at a time, you may cause a loss of sliding door alignment.

  3. Loosen 1 bolt on the sliding door upper roller bracket.
  4. Loosen 1 bolt on the sliding door lower bracket.
  5. Adjust the front edge of the sliding door in or out, as needed.
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Tighten the bolt that you loosened on the sliding door lower roller bracket.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the sliding door lower roller bracket bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  9. Tighten the bolt the that you loosened on the sliding door upper roller bracket.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the sliding door upper roller bracket bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
