Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 717382 Size: SH
  1. Remove the speaker grille using a flat-bladed tool.

    2. Object Number: 717387 Size: SH
  2. Remove the screws from the speaker and remove the speaker from the console.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.

    2. Object Number: 717387 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Secure the speaker with 4 screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3.2 N·m (28 lb in).

  3. Align the speaker grille cover and snap the grille into place.
