Removal Procedure
- Remove the front seat. Refer to
Bucket Seat Replacement
.
- Remove the finish covers. Refer to
Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement
.
- Remove the seat belt buckle with pretensioner. Refer to
Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement - Left Side
or
Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement - Right Side
in SIR.
- Remove the seat adjuster
bolts.
- Remove the seat adjuster (1) from the seat frame.
Installation Procedure
Important: When installing manual seat adjusters to the seat bottom frame, the
right and the left seat adjuster sliding mechanisms should be parallel and
in phase with each other.
After installing manual seat adjusters to the seat frame, inspect the
operation of the adjusters.
- Install the seat adjuster
(1) to the seat frame.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the seat
adjuster bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 32 N·m (24 lb ft).
- Install the seat belt buckle with pretensioner. Refer to
Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement - Left Side
or
Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement - Right Side
in SIR.
- Install the finish covers. Refer to
Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement
.
- Install the front seat. Refer to
Bucket Seat Replacement
.

Removal Procedure
- Remove the front seat. Refer to

- Remove the finish covers. Refer to

- Remove the seat belt buckle with pretensioner. Refer to
Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement - Left Side
or
Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement - Right Side
in SIR.
- Cut the cable strap that secures the seat belt warning lamp wire
to the seat frame.
- Remove the seat adjuster bolts.
- Remove the seat adjuster
(1) from the seat frame (4).
Installation Procedure
Important: When installing manual seat adjusters to the seat bottom frame, the
right and the left seat adjuster sliding mechanisms should be parallel and
in phase with each other.
After installing manual seat adjusters to the seat frame, inspect the

when installing the power seat adjusters.

- Install the front seat (4). Refer to

.
- Route the seat belt warning lamp wire to the rear of the lift
linkage and secure it with a cable strap.
