Removal Procedure
- Remove the cell antenna base from the inside of the glass by grasping
the base and pulling outward.
- Disconnect the coaxial cable from the cell antenna base.
- Remove the antenna mast
from the outside of the glass, by grasping the base and pulling outwards.
- Remove all residue by using a razor blade and isopropyl alcohol.
Installation Procedure
- Clean the glass at the
installation location inside and outside with an alcohol wipe.
- Mark the exterior of the front windshield for the location of
the cellular antenna, 2.5 inches from the roof down to the edge of the antenna,
and 2.25 inches from the passenger side A-pillar to the edge
of the antenna.
- Connect the coaxial cable to the cell antenna base.
Important: Make sure the cellular antenna DOES NOT touch the in-glass radio antenna
(shaded area of the windshield).
- Apply the cell antenna base to the inside of the windshield with the
connector facing the left A-pillar, lining up with the lines on the window.
- Apply the cell antenna to the exterior of the windshield, lining
the antenna up with the interior coupling box.
