This bulletin is being revised to add information on Canadian repair centers. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 02-08-44-005 (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).
Changes have been incorporated into the DVD internal software. Vehicles which have the DVD player received the DVD's with new software on or about March 16, 2002.
These changes are designed to make the DVD player more user friendly.
When a DVD player is sent to Model Electronics (in Canada, AC-Delco Superstore) for repair, the returned unit will have the new software. Included in the package from Model Electronics (in Canada, AC-Delco Superstore) will be a new user interface card. Ensure the customer is given the new interface card when the vehicle is returned to the owner.
